Session Charges
The Governing Body of Walmley Junior School review the costs of running the Earlybirds before and after school provision. Despite rising costs over the past five years, we’ve kept our fees unchanged. To maintain the quality of our service and ensure long-term sustainability, a price adjustment is now essential. The decision to increase our prices has not been made lightly. We understand that any increase in childcare costs affects family budgets. We have conducted a comprehensive price comparison with all local schools offering similar provision, and our new rates still position us as the most affordable option in the area. Additionally, our rates are now aligned with infant school provision for consistency across age groups. As from 1st September 2025 the fees will be as follows:
| Before School (7:30 to 8:45am) | Standard fee of £6.00 per session |
| After School (end of school to 5.30pm) | Standard fee charged at £6.00 per hour (or part thereof) |

Payment of Fees
Your bill will be emailed a month in arrears on the last day of the month, payable by return. If your bill is outstanding after one week, a £10 administration charge will be applied. If it is still outstanding after two weeks, your child’s place may be withdrawn until the account is brought up to date.
Booking
Parents are required to book sessions one month in advance, during the last week of the current month.
